Milena Joy

Milena Distinctive Image Consulting (MDIC) founder Milena Joy is a certified image consultant, author, and motivational speaker. She gives men and women the style confidence they need to be successful in their personal and professional lives.

Milena co-authored Inspired Style, a book featuring advice from top fashion and image experts across the country. She is also featured in the CRAVE Denver guidebook featuring Denver’s most sought after women owned businesses. She co-hosts the web and local TV series What to Wear Where. Locally and nationally recognized as an image and style expert, she has been featured in numerous media such as Fox31 News, Colorado’s Everyday Show, Good Day Vail, the Denver Post, 5280 magazine, Denver Life Magazine, the Huffington Post, American Express Online, AOL’s StyleList.com, WebMD and many more.

Milena earned her image certification at the Image Resource Center of New York. Milena graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota with a B.A in Marketing Management and minor in Advertising.

Fortunate to be adopted from Colombia at age two, Milena is dedicated to paying it forward through community leadership and service. In 2010, Milena founded Coats of Joy, an annual coat drive to give warmth to Denver’s homeless men, women and children. She is a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado program; the Marketing/PR Chair for the Rocky Mountain Active 20-30 women’s group; and a member of Girls Inc., Vistage International, and the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce.
